Hummus

Whether you feel like being healthy or need to pull together something from the pantry to take to a BBQ, this hummus is a winner. Great as a dip with crackers and veggie sticks, or add a dollop to a salad bowl for lunch.

 

Ingredients

1 can drained chickpeas

1 tbsp tahini

½ tsp paprika (optional)

Juice of ½ lemon

2 garlic cloves crushed

1-2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper

 

Method

1. Blend all ingredients together until a smooth paste. If too thick or not blending add some more oil or water until desired consistency reached.

2. Refrigerate in airtight container.
